Kaizen Terms of Service
Last updated: August 17, 2026
Kaizen is a community forum. These terms explain what you're agreeing to when you create an account or use the site at kaizen.rip (we'll call it "Kaizen," "the site," or "we" below). Read them alongside our community Rules, which cover day to day conduct in more detail.
Creating an account, or using Kaizen without one, means you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the site.
Who can use Kaizen
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you're confirming that you meet that requirement, that the information on your account is accurate, and that you'll keep it that way. We can ask for proof of age at any time, and we'll suspend or close an account if we have reason to believe someone doesn't meet this requirement.
Your account
You're responsible for your account, including your password and everything that happens under it. If you notice unauthorized access or a security problem, tell us as soon as you can at support@kaizen.rip. Don't share your login with anyone else, and don't create extra accounts to get around a moderation action taken on another one.
We can decline to register an account, or close an existing one, at our discretion.
Content you post
You keep ownership of anything you post, whether that's a thread, a reply, a profile post, or a message. What you post is your own view, not something Kaizen endorses or is responsible for. Don't post anything you'd want kept private: staff can review content for moderation purposes, and some of it may pass through third-party tools we use for things like spam filtering.
By posting, you're giving Kaizen a license to display, distribute, and reformat that content as needed to run the site (for example, showing it in threads, search, or previews). You're still the owner. This license continues to apply to things you've already posted even if you later delete your account.
You're responsible for what you post. If something you post gets Kaizen into legal trouble (a copyright claim, a defamation claim, anything like that), you agree to cover the costs that causes us, to the extent the law allows that kind of agreement.
What you can't do here
On top of the specifics in our Rules, using Kaizen to do any of the following isn't allowed:
- Harass, threaten, or intentionally target someone;
- Post someone else's private information without their consent, or threaten to (doxxing gets an account closed immediately, no exceptions);
- Post spam, scams, or content designed to manipulate engagement;
- Post content sexualizing minors, or anything else that's illegal to host;
- Impersonate another person or organization;
- Infringe someone else's copyright or trademark;
- Try to break into accounts, scrape the site, or interfere with how it runs;
- Use the site to plan or encourage something illegal, including violence or self-harm.
Where we reasonably believe something posted here points to a real risk of harm or a crime, we can preserve records, share them with law enforcement, and take whatever account action we think is necessary. This section doesn't promise that we monitor or catch every instance of this; it just describes what we're allowed to do when we find one.
VIP and crypto payments
Kaizen offers optional paid VIP perks, currently purchasable with cryptocurrency. Payments are reviewed by hand, not processed automatically: you send payment to the address shown at checkout, report your transaction hash, and staff verifies it before VIP is applied. Because these are cryptocurrency transactions, they can't be reversed on our end once sent, and we don't offer refunds for a purchase made in error, a change of mind, or an account suspended for breaking these terms or the Rules. Prices and perks may change for future purchases; anything you've already bought isn't affected by a later price change.
Moderating the site
Staff can edit, remove, or decline to publish content, and can restrict or close accounts, whenever they believe it's warranted, whether or not the account in question is VIP. These calls are made by staff judgment and are generally final, though you're always welcome to raise a concern with us afterward.
Copyright complaints
If you believe something posted on Kaizen infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@kaizen.rip that includes: your contact details, a description of the copyrighted work, a link to where the infringing material appears on Kaizen, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized, and a statement made under penalty of perjury that you're the rights holder or authorized to act for them, plus your signature. We'll act on valid notices by removing or restricting access to the flagged material, and repeat infringers will lose their accounts. Anyone who believes content was removed in error can send a counter-notice to the same address.
Automated access and AI training
Don't scrape, crawl, or otherwise pull content from Kaizen using automated tools without asking us first, and don't use content from the site to train an AI or machine learning model without our written permission. If you'd like to request either, email support@kaizen.rip.
No warranty
Kaizen is provided as it is. We don't promise the site will always be available, error-free, or free of bugs, and we don't guarantee the accuracy of anything posted by members. Use it at your own judgment.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows it, Kaizen and the people who run it aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site (lost data, lost opportunities, that sort of thing). Where liability can't be excluded entirely, it's capped at whatever you've paid us in the past twelve months, or fifty dollars, whichever is greater. Some places don't allow limits like this, in which case the limit only applies as far as local law lets it.
Ending your access
We can suspend or close your account at any time for breaking these terms, without needing to give advance notice. Parts of these terms that are meant to outlive your account (ownership of content already posted, the warranty and liability sections, and so on) continue to apply after it's closed. If you'd like to close your own account, email support@kaizen.rip and we'll handle it manually; account closure doesn't come with a refund for any VIP purchase.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law that applies where Kaizen's operator is based, without regard to conflict of law rules. Before taking any dispute to court, please try reaching out to support@kaizen.rip first so we have a chance to sort it out directly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Kaizen after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you don't, your option is to stop using the site.
